Everett is my forever home.
My Everettonians!
I was raised right here in Snohomish County and am proudly raising my own kids right here in Mill Town. For my family and yours, I am committed to building a safe, vibrant, and affordable place where all can grow and thrive.
I am a two-time graduate of the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!) with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. I got my start working for now-Governor Bob Fergsuson when he was serving on the King County Council, and went on to work as the Director of Constituent Relations for Councilmember Rod Dembowski. In each of those roles, I prioritized being responsive to the constituents we served, ensuring our office worked for them.
My deep understanding of housing affordability comes from my time working for the Affordable Housing Program at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle where our department provided funding to build affordable housing programs across the region. Ensuring that everyone has access to opportunity is important to me and I was proud to serve six years on the University District Food Bank Board finishing as Board President where I oversaw a board of 12 people and an operating budget of $1 million.
In addition to serving you on the Everett City Council, I also work as the Legislative Aide for Snohomish County Councilmember Megan Dunn where I have worked on policies benefiting working families, housing and homelessness measures, equity and social justice initiatives, bolstering human services resources, environmental issues, and supporting veterans — particularly those involved in the justice system.
I live in the Port Gardner neighborhood with my family, two young kiddos, and a rescue dog named Bodhi. When we aren’t exploring Everett and attending local events, we are planning camping trips to enjoy the great outdoors.
